Holiday Gift Guide

It’s that time of year again and finding the right gift is easier said than done. I try to keep a note in my phone when people mention things that they’d want or like so that I can keep track of it and get later as a gift. But sometimes, I forget or want to get an additional gift and need a little help with ideas. If you’re one of those people, don’t fret! I’m going to share some great gift ideas that are sure to be a hit with your friends, family, or even your beau!

Subscription box – There are subscription boxes for everything, so there’s bound to be one they’ll love. You could gift a couple months worth of boxes if you want, or some companies give the option to gift one box. Here are some to look into:

Blanket – I haven’t met anyone yet that says they have too many blankets Personally, I want ALL the cozy things. Check out the color scheme of their living room or bedroom to get a throw that will fit in perfectly. Heated blankets or weighted ones are really good options too. I actually looking to get a weighted blanket myself.

Spa kit – Some self care is always needed and appreciated. A robe or loungewear, slippers, candles, a diffuser and essential oils, and a bath bomb are some great items for the perfect spa kit. They’ll want to get to relaxing right away.

Gift card tree – I saw this idea on Pinterest last year and thought it was perfect for one of my friends. I picked out a small 2 foot tree and got gift cards from a few different places and attached them to the tree. The gift card can be from anywhere they love including restaurants, coffee shops, a massage, mani/pedi, Target, Amazon, etc.

Dutch oven – If you’re trying to find a gift for the person that loves to cook or bake, this is it! So many different things can be made using it, including soups & stews and even bake bread. They can go straight from the stove and into the oven to finish cooking. You could even add in a soup or bread mix to go with the dutch oven.

Insulated water bottleCorkcicle has so many different styles, shapes, and colors of water bottles and travel mugs. Many people are working on get their daily water intake up, and it may be easier with a fun new bottle. Not only does Corkcicle have water bottles, but also insulated wine cups with lids, reusable straws, lunchboxes, cleaning kits, and much much more.

Wine cork serving tray – If you know any wine lovers, this Serving Tray would be a great gift. Some people like to save their wine corks, so what better way to store them than in a serving tray that’s not only functional, but super cute. You can always add in a bottle of wine or a sangria kit (there’s tons of cute inspo on Pinterest!) with the tray to tie everything together. Or throw in a wine box, and if they decide to sign up for the subscription, they’ll have you to thank for the introduction.

Books – For the avid readers, books are always appreciated. You may want to ask them for some books they’d want though to make sure you aren’t getting something they already have. Or you could do some snooping on their bookshelf to see types of books they like and head to a local bookstore for them to help you pick out a couple books based on your “research”. And don’t forget to grab a bookmark; Etsy is a great place to find some unique and even personalized bookmarks.

Board/card games – That person that’s always hosting a game night would love to get some new games to add to the rotation. Amazon has some fun games that you’ve heard of and even some you haven’t. There are so many options such as Escape Room in a Box, Murder Mystery (with a few different outcomes so you can play multiple times), and What Do You Meme with a few expansion packs. Or you can take it back and get them some classic games that they may not have, like Trouble, Sorry, Clue, or Uno Flip (it’s Uno with a twist and will throw you off your game left and right).

Of course, I couldn’t end this guide without giving you some holiday outfit inspiration. Most of these looks are more casual for your small get togethers with family and friends, but I did throw a couple little dressy numbers in just incase you go to a nice dinner or something during the holidays. Let me know which ones are your faves!

I hope this gift guide helps you in your search and you should treat yourself too!
